Google Reader will now translate posts into 'your language', which you specify in your settings. Although I doubt the quality of the translation provided, it will be much better then no translation at all. Machine translation has been available on the web for some time, and it is good to see it being made available directly in our communication tools. I expect they will eventually embed the similar functionality in Chrome and Gmail. Hopefully other browsers (and email clients) will follow suit.
