Reading diary

Reading diary. Anthony Trollope's England, by John Hazard Wildman. I've seen Trollope's novels referenced in several of the books I've read on Victorian England. This book does a good job of summing up the way of life portrayed in Trollope's novels, that is, country life. I would have liked it to be longer, more detailed, and perhaps stray from the confines of the novels, using them as jumping off points to describe country life in more detail. But that was never the author's intent, only my wish.
