Working from home. I'm working from home at least for part of this morning. A few weeks ago we were notified that some of the materials in balcony railing in our building (179 George, East Market Condos) contained factory defects. As a result, these materials would need to be replaced, and we were to avoid going on our balconies until the repairs had been completed. While I think I've only been on the balcony once or twice, it is nevertheless quite disconcerting to hear that it isn't safe.

So, this morning I get to wait around for the workpeople to come by and do whatever they need to do. Fortunately, they are already here and getting started. No idea how long it will take, but I'm hoping that I'll be at the office before noon.
