Reading diary. Finished reading Henry Petroski's Small things considered : why there is no perfect design. While I enjoyed the book, I found that it was a bit of a light read, a collection of essays that while interesting don't dig too deeply or work together to build a larger idea. I would recommend to someone who interested in but unfamiliar with industrial design. For me, it was a walk down a familiar, if pleasant path: enjoyable, not without its small discoveries, but overall not all that challenging.
