XSL: The Newest Web Style
Wired News story on the W3C releasing the draft proposal for XSL. After reading through abit of the XSL site, my understanding is that XSL is the stylesheet technology of choice for XML documents, where the data is highly structured and may need to be displayed in a non-linear fashion. Since XML is, in my opinion, way over-hyped as a technology (I still don't get it), I have to put XSL in the same "wait and see" category. Besides, I'm still waiting for CSS and DHTML implementations on the major browsers.
