Adobe announces lower earnings, resignations, and layoffs
From c|net. Now, I've only used a few of Adobe's products: Pagemaker (back from it's Aldus days), FrameMaker, and Acrobat. Now, Pagemaker was great, FrameMaker pretty good, but Acrobat...sheesh. I was completely taken in by the advertized features, which in reality, the product simply was not able to provide the advertized functionality, to the point of being unusable. Adobe technical support seemed none too concerned. A real eye-opener. Anyway, before you buy any Adobe product, be sure to check out their product forums first. There you can get the skinny on the product from real users before actually shelling out any cash. I hope Adobe can get their act together: maybe this bad news will wake them up.
