While I've heard a lot of chatter about Battlestar, I have yet to see too many bloggers talk about or recommend the new Doctor Who series. I was never a huge fan of the original series, but I think the new series is excellent. If you have never watched Dr Who, some of the references and creatures won't mean as much (i.e. "EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!"), but that doesn't mean you won't enjoy it.

I have no idea if the series is available in the US, but its on CBC on Monday nights. Highly recommended!
