Last weekend, while browsing through "Britian", I came across a small book entitled 84, Charing Cross Road. I flipped through it, and seeing that it consisted entirely of correspondence, and involved a bookstore, I took it out. Its a short read, but wonderful. Here's a recent edition (mine was a 1975 reprint). The book store in the book has a web site detailing the store and the characters (its a true story). It was also made into a movie, which I must see.
