The objective of this latest redesign was to simplify the overall layout of the page (i.e. get rid of a lot of garbage) and to add a bit of color. I do most of my weblog reading in my news aggregator (bloglines), and I find it easy to forget that some, maybe most, people still probably read my site the old fashion way: in a browser. I've made these changes with them in mind.

I'm still struggling to find an approach for my blogging that works for me. The only thing I have time to do somewhat properly is to write about whatever happens to be on my mind. There will still be links and the odd comment, but much less so.

I'm also toying with the idea of developing one post over the course of the day. Who knows...
