Wonderful day

What a great day! Its the first really warm day we've had this year, and it sure feel nice to walk around in. I started my day by walking up to Education to drop off my last paper for my Cognition and Instruction course. There is little to compare with the relief of handing in a last paper. After that, cut across the reservoir, across Dr. Penfield, and down past Rutherford and Wong, back to the Centre for a 9:30 meeting. The meeting was to go through the nominations for this year's distinguished teaching award. After the meeting, I walked over to Concordia to drop off something for Nathalie at the Liberal Arts college. The Religion department is only a few doors up, so I dropped in to see if John was there, but he wasn't. Headed back to McGill, got a coffee, did a bit of reading, and now I'm back in the office to go through my email backlog and eat some lunch.

I think I'll head over to the library this afternoon to get the articles I need for my last paper. Or rather, those few that were not available as e-journals. I'm trying hard not to limit myself to only those articles that are readily available online. Easier and less work, but not good academic practice!
