Today for the first time since getting my laptop about a year ago, I needed a floppy drive. I needed to get my presentation to class, and didn't want to waste a CD on a 100k file. So I rifled through my boxes to find my USB floppy drive. It was still unopened. I went to the storeroom and found an almost empty box of floppies, grabbed one and slapped on a lime-green label. Went back to my office, plugged in the drive. Boom, it just worked. Dragged the presentation onto the floppy, eject, dropped it in my shirt pocket, and we're good to go. It was the strangest feeling.
