Our principal, Heather Munroe-Blum, recently wrote a piece outlining her position on the actions the Quebec government needs to take to ensure McGill has adequate funding. First, it must bring its funding in line with national averages. Second, it must provide tax incentives to encourage private donations to the university. And third, it needs to allow the raising of tuition fees, accompanies with raises in available financial support for students. Sounds reasonable to me.
